Oura has been around for a long time. He first began his adventure in Music playing guitar in Punk and Metal bands as far back as 1988. In the mid 90's he found his sound at raves in the Midwest. Jungle especually, caught his attention. He then decided to put down the guitar and start producing DNB but there was a long road ahead. First was the immersion into DJ culture. He played as abZ, mostly in PA and Ohio with occassional travel gigs. Eventually in the early 2000s it became more viable to make music on the PC and the studio hours started racking up. He had his first vintl release on Milk Records. Then came the dubstep disruption. He hopped on the sound before most people in the states had heard of it. Throwing the first all dubstep event in Pittsburgh in 2007. Savory Audio was founded shortly after to release his music as well as other artist that he felt deserved a shot. 

After 3 year of running Savory Audio Oura decided to take a break from music to focus on the familly and work but the passion for music never left. He started working on his studio chops again in 2017. Shifting to a house sound and brought the label back. Around 2020 he felt the need to return to his roots of DNB and released an LP in 2022. 

Also in 2022 another distrupter appeared. The Embers Breaks scene based out of dogsonacid.com came to his attention and he went on to be one of the most prolific producers soon after. 

The future will bring more of all of this and more as Savory Audio adopts a freeform attitude with genres while still featuring DNB.
